Our Highlights in Koh Samui | Thailand

In 2015, we visited Koh Samui, a place where we witnesses some incredible sunrises and enchanting and colourful sunsets, stayed in some of the most luxurious resorts, eat the freshest and softest coconuts, cooked authentic Thai dishes with an executive chef that had the privilege of cooking for the Sheikh Mohammed, sun-soak on some of the island’s unspoiled beaches, experienced extreme soothing and pampering in an amazing spa, swimming under a waterfall, rode an elephant in the jungle, exploring in the unforgettable tropical scenery we’ve ever seen. That was just some of the highlights of this trip!

We tried to take a laid back approach whilst in Thailand, but it was more or less impossible. The island had so much to offer, it was hard (yeh, really) to just sit back and relax in paradise. We dedicated much of our time exploring Koh Samui and less time sunbathing, though we were sure include some moments of relaxation, which was supposed to be the sole purpose of this holiday!

Here, I share and document some of our highlights and special moments we encountered on the island...

See you later, Paradise...

A Taste of the Orient

Hong Kong is a fantastic place to live and to visit. It holds a special place in my heart because I originate here through my parents.  Hong Kong is vibrant, enigmatic, bustling, multicultural city and if there is one thing that I always say is that Hong Kong has one 'hella' Skyline. Its gorgeous, one of the best in the world.

You may have seen all the obvious touristic parts of Hong Kong, but you’ll be surprised how many people find their time cut short, faced with a horrible feeling like you left out so much to see. Just when you think you have seen it all in Hong Kong, allow me to say, you really haven’t. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find hidden gems, surprising tales and sights that will blow your mind. Hong Kong is bursting with energy and there is never a dull moment.

Hong Kong blends the East and West, ultra-modern with the traditional perfectly. Amidst the bustle, are little hubs of tranquility, serenity and solitude. One minute you could be hiking on the Dragon's Back, the next, you could be frolicking on the sandy beaches (yes, Hong Kong has many beautiful clear water beaches), wandering the local night markets, eating dessert at midnight, soaking in the magnificent view from Victoria Peak or seeking solitude in a quiet temple - the list is endless.

If you haven’t been to Hong Kong, I have put together some of my favourite snaps to provide a sneak peak into this exhilarating country. A destination-must for any adventurous traveler or explorer or wanderer...
